Team Toppings
It starts with a meeting with 4 authors who has an idea to write a book on how to "make the most of learning moments". Paula Pomer teamed up with Eva Afifah to design this exciting book. The book has 21 "learning hacks" for agile working, each of the 21 colourful hack has a template to visualise how the hacks work, designed effectively and purposefully to fit within the book spread.
Following the launching plan, Eva further developed the design into poster, invitation, and a charming set of gift for the attendees.
To balance the book's fun part whilst building hierarchy, color blocks and white spaces contribute a big part of the book. This creative part is particularly enjoyable for both me and Paula. At the same time, specific chapter's pretty hard to design since there's a disparity between ours and one of the authors' expectations. In the end, we circled back to the first solution. Classic, isn't it? BUT we both enjoyed the process and freedom that we had in the process, learned and tried Adobe tools for collaboration.
